Rolland Sallai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Assendelft read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Rolland Sallai put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Marco Assendelft. After 64 minutes of play, SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Rolland Sallai made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Assendelft was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enrico Schmedes in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Assendelft prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ole Per Schikaneder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Assendelft having to interfere. Enrico Schmedes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Assendelft having to make a save. Marco Assendelft stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enrico Schmedes's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Enrico Schmedes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Assendelft read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. If Burkhard Schlick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. made a substitution. Benny Dörfler replaced Hartwig Kuhn. Marco Assendelft made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Burkhard Schlick in the 95th minute of play. There was no doubt that SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. were the better team. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
