After some careless play in the Granville defense, Guilian Hombroeckx kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andrea Cellucci. The Granville fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andrea Cellucci should have stopped the shot. After 14 played minutes Granville got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Eder. Andrea Cellucci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacob Buyck in the 21st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chi-Chi Branca in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Batıkan Özata saved AUcimont from getting behind. Andrea Cellucci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikodemus Kronwall, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Guilian Hombroeckx scored 1-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andrea Cellucci, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. AUcimont's Batıkan Özata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chi-Chi Branca in the 37th minute of play. After 42 minutes, Esteve Lia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Granville and the AUcimont players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 42nd minute, Esteve Lia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the match, Jacob Buyck notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Granville's Andrea Cellucci. Andrea Cellucci was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 72nd match minute, AUcimont was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geoffrey Walder to maneuver through the defense. Granville's Andrea Cellucci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacob Buyck in the 75th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tim-Jan Terhorst got free with Andrea Cellucci in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 87th match minute, Granville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteve Lia to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the match, Granville's goalkeeper Andrea Cellucci had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tim-Jan Terhorst. With a little luck, Granville's Andrea Cellucci got control of the ball when Tim-Jan Terhorst tried to sneak it across the goal line. Granville's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anselmo Hernando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The AUcimont supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AUcimont would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
