Peter Blomkvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Egun Pais. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Peter Blomkvist ran back to his position shaking his head. Egun Pais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Blomkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Egun Pais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Blomkvist in the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Andy Cole made a precise shot to the right of Nicasio Abad. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 28th minute of the game Guto Gamarra made a throw-in which Andy Cole played forward. In the 31st minute Peter Blomkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egun Pais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Floresta Negra FC's Andy Cole sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicasio Abad narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 42 played minutes Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Iago. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ made a substitution. Antonio Alzamendi replaced William Lebigot. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peter Blomkvist made a kick off. Peter Blomkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Egun Pais was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pietro Salles showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 66 minute of play. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Kosmas Banasopoulos was substituted for Joel Enekoitz. A throw-in in the 74th minute of the game was made by Miroslaw Nieuzyla with Pietro Salles as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pietro Salles in the 77th minute of play forced Floresta Negra FC's goalkeeper Egun Pais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuel Nava made in the 81st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Blas Frances immediately put the ball in play. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Nicasio Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jardel Lewandowski in the 91st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Floresta Negra FC's Alexsandro Mandrak got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Kosmas Banasopouloss short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Egun Pais to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 2-2 became the score in the 95th minute when Antonio Alzamendi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
