Darwin Torres came free with the goalkeeper in the 5th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nicasio Abad could save by the left post. Themba Takane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pietro Salles in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Cimarrones F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Demircioğlu came free, but Themba Takane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Cimarrones F.C. getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Eloy Janez hit a great ball. Themba Takane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pietro Salles in the 15th minute of the match. If Demetrio Giacchetti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Nicasio Abad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ from getting a goal against them. In the 27th minute, Pietro Salles made a precise shot to the right of Themba Takane. Cimarrones F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Nicasio Abad made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Darwin Torres sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Demetrio Giacchetti in the 34th minute of play forced Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goalkeeper Nicasio Abad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Darwin Torres got free with Nicasio Abad in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joel Enekoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Themba Takane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cimarrones F.C.'s Themba Takane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pietro Salles in the 45th minute of play. After the first half Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brecht Dheedene made a kick off. Pietro Salles came free with the goalkeeper in the 59th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Themba Takane could save by the left post. Pietro Salles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Kosmas Banasopoulos was substituted for Joel Enekoitz. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Peter Blomkvist was substituted for Pietro Salles. 68 minutes into the match, Cimarrones F.C.'s goalkeeper Themba Takane had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peter Blomkvist. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Peter Blomkvist put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Themba Takane. Themba Takane was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Peter Blomkvist showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 79 minute of play. Cimarrones F.C. made a substitution. Rutenio Respaldizar replaced Demetrio Giacchetti. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s attentive Ahmet Demircioğlu managed to snatch the ball when Zuzen Aldeco made a throw-in in the 83rd minute of the game. Themba Takane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Demircioğlu in the 93rd minute of the match.
