Yanick Winnepennincx struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Menios Chloros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KFC Welden. In the 8th minute Carles Pujol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gillis Degens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, KFC Welden's goal looked a bit too open when Nedim Emekli came free, but Gillis Degens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute Yanick Winnepennincx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Menios Chloros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Menios Chloros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wouter Gijselinckx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gillis Degens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miltos Makris in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to KFC Welden getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Wouter Gijselinckx hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Mean Machine's Gillis Degens threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carles Pujol, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. KFC Welden's Gillis Degens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miltos Makris in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Mean Machine's goal looked a bit too open when Kristen Spoelberghe came free, but Menios Chloros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 36 played minutes Mean Machine got a freekick which was hit by Nedim Emekli. With a little luck, KFC Welden's Gillis Degens got control of the ball when Archibaldo Peñaranda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carles Pujol took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gillis Degens. Gillis Degens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Gillis Degens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miltos Makris, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mean Machine's zone, Kristen Spoelberghe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Menios Chloros came out of the goal and Kristen Spoelberghe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nedim Emekli made a kick off. If Nedim Emekli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Menios Chloros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wouter Gijselinckx in the 62nd minute of the match. Gillis Degens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miltos Makris in the 65th minute of play. Gillis Degens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikos Stasinos, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 74 minutes into the match, KFC Welden's goal looked a bit too open when Carles Pujol came free, but Gillis Degens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute Wouter Gijselinckx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Menios Chloros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gillis Degens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nedim Emekli in the 87th minute of the match. Menios Chloros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vincent Dejonghe in the 88th minute. After 91 minutes, Miltos Makris mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mean Machine and the KFC Welden players grew even worse after the yellow card. Miltos Makris kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Mean Machine's Agnaldo Braga was substituted for Archibaldo Peñaranda. Mean Machine made a substitution. Nikos Kioupouroglou replaced Miltos Makris. Mean Machine's Luca Milivojević was substituted for Lakis Mantarinakis. After 93 played minutes Mean Machine got a freekick which was hit by Miltos Makris. There was no doubt that Mean Machine were the better team. Mean Machine's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
