Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Carl Beck started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 7 minutes into the match, Cuervo Loco FC's goalkeeper Modesto Oro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alejandro Rufo. After 11 minutes, Saturnino Curcio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting de Gijón and the Cuervo Loco FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Óscar Cordoba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Martínez in the 16th minute of play. Sporting de Gijón's Óscar Cordoba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Beck in the 19th minute of play. Óscar Cordoba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaur Rännu in the 24th minute of the match. Modesto Oro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Maradona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Paulino Avellaneda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Óscar Cordoba was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Kaur Rännu sped through Sporting de Gijón's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Óscar Cordoba. After having played for 33 minutes, Lautaro Martínez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cuervo Loco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Martínez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Modesto Oro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saturnino Curcio, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Lautaro Martínez took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Óscar Cordoba. Óscar Cordoba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Modesto Oro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matias Bilintx in the 38th minute. Zigrīds Olencevics received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Óscar Cordoba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alejandro Rufo hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 45th match minute, Sporting de Gijón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niceto Dominix to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Sporting de Gijón booed when Cuervo Loco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaur Rännu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sporting de Gijón's Carolo Ovando was substituted for Denis Bonadona. In the 48th match minute, Cuervo Loco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaur Rännu to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matias Bilintx to make the kick off. Cuervo Loco FC's Modesto Oro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carolo Ovando in the 54th minute of play. The supporters of Sporting de Gijón booed when Cuervo Loco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Calvet didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Matias Bilintx came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Sporting de Gijón fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matias Bilintx couldn't finish the play. 62 minutes into the match, Matias Bilintx notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Cuervo Loco FC's Modesto Oro. Modesto Oro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 65 minutes into the match, Sporting de Gijón's goalkeeper Óscar Cordoba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carl Beck. In the 68th minute, Lautaro Martínez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sporting de Gijón made a substitution. Venancio Emesto replaced Alejandro Rufo. In the 73rd match minute, Cuervo Loco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Salvatore to maneuver through the defense. Modesto Oro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Bilintx in the 73rd minute of play. Sporting de Gijón's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Saturnino Curcio in the 75th minute. After taking down the ball on Sporting de Gijón's corner Esteban Ekaitz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Modesto Oro quite easily take care of the ball. Modesto Oro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Bilintx, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Óscar Cordoba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Martínez, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Modesto Oro came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting de Gijón's Matias Bilintx. But to his dismay, Matias Bilintx quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Óscar Cordoba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vit Coin in the 89th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Bilintx in the 92nd minute of play forced Cuervo Loco FC's goalkeeper Modesto Oro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cuervo Loco FC's goalkeeper Modesto Oro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Cuervo Loco FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sporting de Gijón.
