Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bryant Solis made the kick off which started today's match. DZINTARS's Bryant Solis came free and shot a quick shot against goal 4 minutes in the game, fortunately Dante Fernendo had problems saving as it came toward the left post. A collision led to Sporting de Gijón getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Alejandro Rufo hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bryant Solis in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Fernendo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Matias Bilintx took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pål Bergmann. Pål Bergmann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Dante Fernendo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kārlis Dzintars in the 18th minute of play. With a little luck, Sporting de Gijón's Dante Fernendo got control of the ball when Ģirts Ozols tried to sneak it across the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Sporting de Gijón's goal looked a bit too open when Kārlis Dzintars came free, but Dante Fernendo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pål Bergmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Bilintx in the 26th minute of the match. After some careless play in the DZINTARS defense, Matias Bilintx kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pål Bergmann. The DZINTARS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pål Bergmann should have stopped the shot. Bryant Solis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dante Fernendo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kārlis Dzintars in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute DZINTARS were awarded a corner. Egons Ozollapa went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Egons Ozollapa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sporting de Gijón's Dante Fernendo did a great save. Bryant Solis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Dante Fernendo made a huge save. A collision led to Sporting de Gijón getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Niceto Dominix hit a great ball. Dante Fernendo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 39th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Egons Ozollapa. Kārlis Dzintars sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Sporting de Gijón defense, Bryant Solis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Fernendo. The Sporting de Gijón fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Fernendo should have stopped the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Matias Bilintx made the kick off in the second half. Pål Bergmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Curcio in the 66th minute of play. After having played for 66 minutes, Saturnino Curcio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting de Gijón's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saturnino Curcio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. DZINTARS's Henrihs Linkūns was substituted for Kārlis Dzintars. Sporting de Gijón's Venancio Emesto was substituted for Denis Bonadona. Mario Zanabria kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Matias Bilintx could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Pål Bergmann made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnino Curcio in the 83rd minute of play forced DZINTARS's goalkeeper Pål Bergmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ģirts Ozols during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 89 played minutes DZINTARS got a freekick which was hit by Ģirts Ozols. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
