In the 9th minute Edmundson Ross shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeu Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Edmundson Ross put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tadeu Salgado. Edmundson Ross struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Tadeu Salgado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ❇ᛗᛁᛏᚱᚺ‍ᚨᚾᛞᛁᚱ❇. A sloppy throw-in by Ture Asklöv in the 18th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Eriberto Melo. Corrado Vierchowod sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 23 minutes, Nando Lago mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.E.R. Caxias do Sul and the ❇ᛗᛁᛏᚱᚺ‍ᚨᚾᛞᛁᚱ❇ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Caxias do Sul's Henrique França quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tytus Pinczewski, made in the 28th minute of the game. In the 30th minute, Edmundson Ross reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tadeu Salgado. The goal made the score 4-0. In the 33rd minute Eugenio Cherubini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeu Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Edmundson Ross left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ❇ᛗᛁᛏᚱᚺ‍ᚨᚾᛞᛁᚱ❇ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Tadeu Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundson Ross, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tadeu Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundson Ross, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Peter Söderquist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the game, Edmundson Ross landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 53 minutes into the game, Eriberto Melo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ❇ᛗᛁᛏᚱᚺ‍ᚨᚾᛞᛁᚱ❇ the free kick. 53 minutes into the game, one of S.E.R. Lukasz Sidor might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tadeu Salgado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lukasz Sidor might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tadeu Salgado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tadeu Salgado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. Tadeu Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukasz Sidor in the 80th minute of the match. Lukasz Sidor scored 11-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tadeu Salgado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lukasz Sidor might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tadeu Salgado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
