Jordi Scherz's late challenge caught a SPARROWS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jordi Scherz helped the player get up and apologised. After 7 played minutes AFC United got a freekick which was hit by Jordi Scherz. Karl-Michael Tinglöv sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 10 minutes into the match, SPARROWS's goal looked a bit too open when Andries De Putter came free, but Vitko Hadzhiiliev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, AFC United's goal looked a bit too open when Aan 周瑜 came free, but Lei Bin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Michael Tinglöv in the 16th minute of play forced AFC United's goalkeeper Lei Bin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Andries De Putter put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Vitko Hadzhiiliev. Vitko Hadzhiiliev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andries De Putter, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute of the match, Karl-Michael Tinglöv got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lei Bin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience was convinced that Andries De Putter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vitko Hadzhiiliev was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Lei Bin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Karl-Michael Tinglöv showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 27 minute of play. After a rather tough play, SPARROWS's Rayko Tzolovski got a free kick in the 31st minute. AFC United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Karl-Michael Tinglöv scored to the left of an out of position Lei Bin, making the score, 2-1. SPARROWS made a substitution. Omar Tadzio replaced Dinko Velev. SPARROWS's Vitko Hadzhiiliev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeng Sang Chao in the 38th minute of play. Lei Bin made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Karl-Michael Tinglöv sent off a good shot on target. Peru Diaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

AFC United's Andries De Putter got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Andries De Putter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vitko Hadzhiiliev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andries De Putter in the 53rd minute of play. If Aan 周瑜 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SPARROWS's Vitko Hadzhiiliev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save SPARROWS from getting a goal against them. 64 minutes into the game, Andries De Putter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Vitko Hadzhiiliev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. SPARROWS made a substitution. Pavlin Pintev replaced Rayko Tzolovski. After 68 played minutes SPARROWS got a freekick which was hit by Mincho Strahinov. AFC United's Bilintx Trilla was substituted for Şenel Volkan. AFC United's Faustino Asprilla was substituted for Andries De Putter. In the 69th minute, Mincho Strahinov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to SPARROWS getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Hakan Emektar hit a great ball. Vitko Hadzhiiliev made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Jordi Scherz sent off a good shot on target. After 80 played minutes SPARROWS got a freekick which was hit by Mincho Strahinov. In the 82ndth minute of the game Faustino Asprilla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SPARROWS's Vitko Hadzhiiliev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 83rd minute AFC United were awarded a corner. Jordi Scherz went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of SPARROWS's goalie and right to Peru Diaz. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. SPARROWS's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Vitko Hadzhiiliev came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC United's Faustino Asprilla. But to his dismay, Faustino Asprilla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. After a rather tough play, SPARROWS's Mincho Strahinov got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Vitko Hadzhiiliev came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC United's Faustino Asprilla. But to his dismay, Faustino Asprilla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4.
