With a little luck, FC MeHigh's Iordache Albu got control of the ball when Walter Giardino tried to sneak it across the goal line. The throw-in from Narcis Crișan in the 15th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Karl-Åke Norling. 16 minutes into the match, tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Walter Giardino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iordache Albu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC MeHigh's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Grigoris Kornaros was slow to take the kick. During this time tHe SOnS of rAGnar's players had a chance to rest. tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Benjamin Mikolas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Iordache Albu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 21st minute, Karl-Åke Norling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of FC MeHigh booed when tHe SOnS of rAGnar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fiz Biembengén didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laurence Snow could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Iordache Albu made a huge save. tHe SOnS of rAGnar's José Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Hasan Keyfer in the 34th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, tHe SOnS of rAGnar's goal looked a bit too open when Traian Curuțiu came free, but José Sá reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, FC MeHigh's Ahmet Hasan Keyfer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Sá made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The audience was convinced that Alexis Alexandris's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iordache Albu was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. If Xuaco Fias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute.
