It was a well-played corner which Charly Good managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isaias Jakue made a kick off. When Charly Good fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sporting Buceo's protests and gave Charly Good a yellow card for diving instead. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Sporting Buceo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Giuliano Galoppo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
