Roman Shantala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Cassaretto in the 30th minute of play. CD Municipal's George Forsyth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Bartolome in the 32nd minute of play. Roman Shantala didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enrique Cassaretto went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Enrique Cassaretto might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roman Shantala. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enrique Cassaretto ran back to his position shaking his head. 43 minutes into the match, Alpachiri AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Cassaretto came free, but Roman Shantala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrique Cassaretto might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roman Shantala. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enrique Cassaretto ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 46th match minute, CD Municipal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aureliano Buendia to maneuver through the defense. Patricio Bartolome recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enrique Cassaretto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. CD Municipal's Peter Haber quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Johnny Ramone, made in the 53rd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enrique Cassaretto in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roman Shantala saved Alpachiri AFC from getting behind. Enrique Cassaretto might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roman Shantala. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enrique Cassaretto ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 61st minute Santiago Txilar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Forsyth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enrique Cassaretto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrique Cassaretto got free with Roman Shantala in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roman Shantala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oalo Dean, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 76th minute, Oalo Dean left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CD Municipal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. 79 minutes into the match, Alpachiri AFC's goalkeeper Roman Shantala had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oalo Dean. CD Municipal's George Forsyth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Acuña in the 83rd minute of play. Oalo Dean struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Roman Shantala didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Municipal. Oalo Dean in the 90thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Roman Shantala, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 95 minutes, Oalo Dean managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Municipal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oalo Dean was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
