The audience thought a goal was coming when Lukács Madaras got free with Amílton Dantas in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of ARAUCARIA FC booed when Grêmio Meia Praia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Normando didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amador Menendo in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oséias Fantini saved ARAUCARIA FC from getting behind. In the 23rd minute, Amador Menendo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grêmio Meia Praia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. A collision led to ARAUCARIA FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. The tension between the Grêmio Meia Praia and the ARAUCARIA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Grêmio Meia Praia's Luiz Gustavo Dante got a free kick in the 39th minute. After 60 played minutes Grêmio Meia Praia got a freekick which was hit by Lino Normando. Elano Lopes took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amílton Dantas. Amílton Dantas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in ARAUCARIA FC's zone, Amador Menendo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oséias Fantini came out of the goal and Amador Menendo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amílton Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elano Lopes in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amador Menendo in the 73rd minute of play forced ARAUCARIA FC's goalkeeper Oséias Fantini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Elano Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amílton Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elano Lopes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81stth minute of the game Elano Lopes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grêmio Meia Praia's Amílton Dantas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Oséias Fantini made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Francisco Soeiro sent off a good shot on target. ARAUCARIA FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Grêmio Meia Praia for a fine match.
