Luís Paulo Sabóia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Jarbas Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulopolis's Cayetano Rito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marquinhos Santos in the 11th minute of play. Cayetano Rito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marquinhos Santos in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, Samuel Jobo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cayetano Rito. Paulopolis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuel Jobo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Jarbas Quadros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ruy Carneiro's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. The supporters of PREZULO FC booed when Paulopolis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. The PREZULO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marquinhos Santos was the one to do the kick off. Cayetano Rito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marquinhos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute Marquinhos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Rito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Paulopolis's Enrique Falcão got a free kick in the 67th minute. PREZULO FC's Betão de Brito was substituted for Olgierd Literski. PREZULO FC's Isaac Ferreira was substituted for Santiago Eriksen. In the 72nd minute, Isaac Ferreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albano Jaunzuria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Rito having to interfere. Alex Vargas kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Shi Xi Zhen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cayetano Rito. Paulopolis's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 79 played minutes Paulopolis got a freekick which was hit by Luís Paulo Sabóia. Cayetano Rito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Betão de Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 84th minute, Marquinhos Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Betão de Brito struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Cayetano Rito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PREZULO FC. 87 minutes into the match, Ana Cristina had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cayetano Rito. Paulopolis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ana Cristina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. After 90 minutes Paulopolis's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Shi Xi Zhen who took care of the corner kick. Isaac Ferreira took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cayetano Rito. Cayetano Rito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. 95 minutes into the game, Isaac Ferreira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Cayetano Rito was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. PREZULO FC fully deserved thier win.
