Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oliver Bierhoff ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miki Moco got free with Cayetano Rito in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oliver Bierhoff blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cayetano Rito having to make a save. Cayetano Rito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Bierhoff in the 13th minute of the match. The supporters of ADM Taquaras booed when Paulopolis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Falcão didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Oliver Bierhoff managed to get in a good position for a shot. ADM Taquaras's supporters rose to their feet, but Oliver Bierhoff was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cayetano Rito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cayetano Rito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Bierhoff in the 21st minute of the match. After 22 minutes Paulopolis's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Áron Bódog who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Tales De Mileto almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Paulopolis's Cayetano Rito did a great save. If Ruy Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cayetano Rito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oliver Bierhoff in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Bierhoff in the 36th minute of play forced Paulopolis's goalkeeper Cayetano Rito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Oliver Bierhoff ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cayetano Rito was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 39th minute, Sérgio Marinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, Oliver Bierhoff notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Paulopolis's Cayetano Rito. Cayetano Rito was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wágner Leme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oliver Bierhoff to make the kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Paulopolis's goalkeeper Cayetano Rito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Jeremias Moreno managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Paulopolis's Ruy Carneiro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cayetano Rito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wágner Leme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, ADM Taquaras's Oliver Bierhoff sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cayetano Rito narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by Paulopolis's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Áron Bódog was slow to take the kick. During this time ADM Taquaras's players had a chance to rest. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Cléber Palmeira advanced and headed the ball into goal, 4-0 in the 62nd minute. 68 minutes into the game, Oliver Bierhoff cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Cayetano Rito was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Enrique Falcão hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. ADM Taquaras made a substitution. Enio Aparecido replaced Oliver Bierhoff. After a rather tough play, Paulopolis's Enrique Falcão got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Cayetano Rito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Áron Bódog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tales De Mileto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Áron Bódog put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Cayetano Rito. 89 minutes into the match, Enio Aparecido had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cayetano Rito. Paulopolis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enio Aparecido was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Cayetano Rito didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Áron Bódog went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. ADM Taquaras walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
