Ramadan Hristov made a great header on Macedonia's corner, it was just that KARAORMAN's Iona Lightfoot managed to reach the ball for a save. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Ramadan Hristov put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Iona Lightfoot. 8 minutes into the match, Macedonia's goal looked a bit too open when Cyprian Penczkowski came free, but Spase Kastrati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramadan Hristov couldn't finish the play. Spase Kastrati made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyprian Penczkowski in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute Diljan Dzaferi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iona Lightfoot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karim Benzema's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Spase Kastrati read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Karim Benzema came free with the goalkeeper in the 25th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Spase Kastrati could save by the left post. KARAORMAN's Iona Lightfoot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vidoe Gegovski in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to Macedonia getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Lefter Trpev hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Karim Benzema made the kick off in the second half. Spase Kastrati showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karim Benzema, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Vuk Urgovski in the 95thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Iona Lightfoot, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Macedonia's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
