In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brazil's goalkeeper Dida Martins, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to S.E. Pindorama Eagles getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Róbson Rossi hit a great ball. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Ştefan Magheran was substituted for Róbson Velasco. Dida Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ştefan Magheran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Frits van Gaal was substituted for Inácio Ponta. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Juvenal Antunes was substituted for Diamantino Neves. Brazil's Marco Vianna was substituted for Maurinho Mendonça. In the 65th minute of the match S.E. Pindorama Eagles got a corner. Brazil's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Juvenal Antunes ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Simão Domingues got a free kick in the 66th minute. Pindorama Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Clayton Gol came free, but Vassilis Nentakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Brazil getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Saulão Chettle hit a great ball. Many of Brazil's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Brazil may have spent more time on the ball, but S.E. Pindorama Eagles were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
