An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurinho Mendonça in the 17th minute of play forced S.E. Pindorama Eagles's goalkeeper Vassilis Nentakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maurinho Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Róbson Rossi kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. The supporters of S.E. Pindorama Eagles booed when Brazil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franz Beckenbauer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ştefan Magheran to make the kick off. After having played for 66 minutes, Ştefan Magheran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.E.
