Róbson Velasco in the 5thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dida Martins, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 24th minute, Maurinho Mendonça ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vassilis Nentakis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Simão Domingues kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Maurinho Mendonça left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brazil fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Maurinho Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 34 minutes into the match, Ştefan Magheran notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Brazil's Dida Martins. Dida Martins was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gugu Netto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Dida Martins when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 41st minute, S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Klas Billström seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Klas Billström the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of S.E. Pindorama Eagles protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Klas Billström had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for S.E. Pindorama Eagles! Vassilis Nentakis had in the 42ndth minute some difficulties stopping Maurinho Mendonça's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 42nd minute, Maurinho Mendonça left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brazil fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ştefan Magheran stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ştefan Magheran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the game, Róbson Rossi threw the ball into play from the sideline. Brazil's Franz Beckenbauer quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Brazil's Marco Vianna was substituted for Maurinho Mendonça. A collision led to Brazil getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Franz Beckenbauer hit a great ball. Vassilis Nentakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clayton Gol in the 69th minute of play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Brazil's Clayton Gol in the 72nd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Vassilis Nentakis was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for S.E. Pindorama Eagles through an amazing save. Brazil were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after S.E. Pindorama Eagles's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marco Vianna took the corner. Franz Beckenbauer made a great header on Brazil's corner, it was just that S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Vassilis Nentakis managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clayton Gol in the 78th minute of play forced S.E. Pindorama Eagles's goalkeeper Vassilis Nentakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Rafa de Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Frits van Gaal got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vassilis Nentakis was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Clayton Gol capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Clayton Gol really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Saulão Chettle scored to the left of an out of position Vassilis Nentakis, making the score, 1-5. In the 93rd minute, Frits van Gaal made a precise shot to the right of Dida Martins. Brazil's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Brazil eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
