After a rather tough play, Charmander City's Carlos Izquierdoz got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 6 minutes into the match, Ger Branca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Haji Sarap. Joinville City - FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ger Branca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The throw-in from Carlos Izquierdoz in the 9th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Joinville City - FSCMZ's Henrique Camargo. Haji Sarap stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ger Branca's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Geovanildo Luis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Tobias Reuters tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovanildo Luis in the 21st minute of play forced Charmander City's goalkeeper Tobias Reuters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geovanildo Luis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute Ger Branca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haji Sarap saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Joinville City - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Ger Branca came free, but Haji Sarap reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Charmander City defense, Geovanildo Luis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tobias Reuters. The Charmander City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tobias Reuters should have stopped the shot. Cheikha Fellahi hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Tobias Reuters showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovanildo Luis, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Ger Branca kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After 36 played minutes, Joinville City - FSCMZ's Mbaka N'Diaye shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tobias Reuters came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Joinville City - FSCMZ reached it. Alfredo Toth kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Tobias Reuters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovanildo Luis in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovanildo Luis in the 42nd minute of play forced Charmander City's goalkeeper Tobias Reuters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Geovanildo Luis made the kick off in the second half. Joinville City - FSCMZ's Luo Peng Ao was substituted for Ronaldinho Gaucho. Joinville City - FSCMZ's Horácio Abraão was substituted for João Francisco Arce. Joinville City - FSCMZ made a substitution. Adhemar Santos replaced Geovanildo Luis. Tobias Reuters made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mbaka N'Diaye in the 63rd minute. In the 64th match minute, Charmander City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Itzaina to maneuver through the defense. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 74 minutes into the match, Joinville City - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Odol came free, but Haji Sarap reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Horácio Abraão kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tobias Reuters. That made the score 1-2 in the 76 minute of play. In the 80th minute, Benigno Qwinton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Charmander City's Tobias Reuters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horácio Abraão in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adhemar Santos in the 82nd minute of play forced Charmander City's goalkeeper Tobias Reuters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adhemar Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tobias Reuters read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Joinville City - FSCMZ's Adhemar Santos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Tobias Reuters had in the 94thth minute some difficulties stopping Horácio Abraão's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Horácio Abraão scored 1-4 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tobias Reuters, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 97th minute, Oscar Lekubegi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Charmander City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4.

Joinville City - FSCMZ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
