Corinthians Paulista's Fırat Aytekin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Funes Mori in the 5th minute of play. Fırat Aytekin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogelio Funes Mori, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 14th minute, Júnior Baiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Johannes Kruuse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fırat Aytekin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogelio Funes Mori, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johannes Kruuse in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelo Armani saved Rejunte de perros from getting behind. In the 21st match minute, Rejunte de perros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavio Truylos to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the match, Rejunte de perros's goalkeeper Marcelo Armani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Johannes Kruuse. Marcelo Armani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zheng Chao Rong in the 29th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Rejunte de perros's goal looked a bit too open when Zheng Chao Rong came free, but Marcelo Armani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute of the match S.C. Corinthians Paulista got a corner. Rejunte de perros's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Maurício Rodrigues ran over to the corner to take the kick. 33 minutes into the match, Johannes Kruuse dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcelo Armani, 1-0. Rejunte de perros's Marcelo Armani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zheng Chao Rong in the 39th minute of play. Marcelo Armani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Johannes Kruuse in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute S.C. Corinthians Paulista were awarded a corner. Maurício Rodrigues went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Maurício Rodrigues to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcelo Armani despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

The wind increased when Johannes Kruuse made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Johannes Kruuse notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Rejunte de perros's Marcelo Armani. Marcelo Armani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Maurício Rodrigues pulled a muscle in his leg after 56 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iisakki Hilden during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some careless play in the Rejunte de perros defense, Zheng Chao Rong kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelo Armani. The Rejunte de perros fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Armani should have stopped the shot. 62 minutes into the match, S.C. Corinthians Paulista's goal looked a bit too open when Thomás Barral came free, but Fırat Aytekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 67 minutes, Johannes Kruuse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johannes Kruuse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nildo Rosa in the 70th minute of play forced Rejunte de perros's goalkeeper Marcelo Armani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelo Armani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nildo Rosa's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Marcelo Armani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camillo Giandomenico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fırat Aytekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomás Barral in the 83rd minute of play. A collision led to Rejunte de perros getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Thomás Barral hit a great ball. The supporters of Rejunte de perros booed when S.C. Corinthians Paulista was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro da Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball.

S.C. Corinthians Paulista's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
