The audience thought a goal was coming when Bengt-Rune Fastesson got free with Mondi Muslera in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 18 in the game by Bengt-Rune Fastesson from a close distance when the talented Mondi Muslera managed to make a qualified save. KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS's players were relieved. Mondi Muslera came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by ACF Fiorentina's Isaac Intxixu. But to his dismay, Isaac Intxixu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Federico Kalinowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan-Ramón Verón, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Federico Kalinowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lütfi Kadrettin in the 29th minute of play. After some careless play in the ACF Fiorentina defense, Lütfi Kadrettin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Federico Kalinowski. The ACF Fiorentina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Federico Kalinowski should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd minute, Lütfi Kadrettin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mondi Muslera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Rune Fastesson in the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan-Ramón Verón in the 40th minute of play forced ACF Fiorentina's goalkeeper Federico Kalinowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS's Orçun Halıcı got a free kick in the 41st minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juan-Ramón Verón to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Juan-Ramón Verón managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan-Ramón Verón was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS's İlbey Birsen got a free kick in the 59th minute. ACF Fiorentina made a substitution. Saturnino Michael replaced Isaac Intxixu. 63 minutes into the match, ACF Fiorentina's Maximino Cabezon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mondi Muslera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Abelardo Perutxo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Federico Kalinowski firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 94th minute Maximino Cabezon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mondi Muslera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
For all the effort they put into the match, the KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ACF Fiorentina.
