Joinville City - FSCMZ's Haji Sarap played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İrfan Attar in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by Joinville City - FSCMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cristi Chivu was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Urzicuța's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Aurel Beldeanu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Joinville City - FSCMZ's Haji Sarap did a great save. Haji Sarap took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İrfan Attar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. İrfan Attar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Haji Sarap made a huge save. Haji Sarap made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kulabhusana Karabashlykov in the 20th minute. 24 minutes into the match, İrfan Attar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Haji Sarap. Joinville City - FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that İrfan Attar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geovanildo Luis to make the kick off. For all the effort they put into the match, the Joinville City - FSCMZ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Urzicuța.
