Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Patrick Galvão got the match started through his kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patrick Galvão in the 2nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Themis Vouzatos saved Monodhendri FC from getting behind. West Staines Massive were awarded a corner in the 3th minute after Monodhendri FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Patrick Galvão took the corner. The corner ended in Patrick Galvão almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Monodhendri FC's Themis Vouzatos did a great save. After 6 minutes, Michael Weniger made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Monodhendri FC's Themis Vouzatos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Monodhendri FC's goalkeeper Themis Vouzatos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. West Staines Massive's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Patrick Galvão in the 10th minute. After 13th play minutes Patrick Galvão shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Themis Vouzatos and just under the crossbar into goal. After having played for 15 minutes, Michael Weniger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. West Staines Massive's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michael Weniger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Takis Vozikis's late challenge caught a West Staines Massive's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Takis Vozikis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th match minute, Monodhendri FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Takis Vozikis to maneuver through the defense. Patrick Galvão was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 17th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Themis Vouzatos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Eduino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the game, Jose Eduino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Themis Vouzatos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Themis Vouzatos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jose Eduino went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Jose Eduino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Themis Vouzatos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Monodhendri FC's Themis Vouzatos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Eduino in the 31st minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, West Staines Massive's Patrick Galvão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Themis Vouzatos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. West Staines Massive were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Monodhendri FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Patrick Galvão took the corner. After taking down the ball on West Staines Massive's corner Patrick Galvão fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Themis Vouzatos quite easily take care of the ball. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Patrick Galvão sped through Monodhendri FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Themis Vouzatos. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nelsinho Fonseca to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Patrick Galvão lined in a short shot 0-8 behind a frustrated Themis Vouzatos. If Michael Weniger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Spyros Kasselas kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Michael Weniger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Themis Vouzatos. Monodhendri FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michael Weniger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. Themis Vouzatos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Eduino in the 62nd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the game, Dan Rowell cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Themis Vouzatos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Themis Vouzatos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Patrick Galvão's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Themis Vouzatos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Themis Vouzatos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Galvão in the 73rd minute of play. A collision led to Monodhendri FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Takis Vozikis hit a great ball. In the 74th minute Patrick Galvão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Themis Vouzatos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Monodhendri FC's zone, Michael Weniger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Themis Vouzatos came out of the goal and Michael Weniger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patrick Galvão took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Themis Vouzatos. Themis Vouzatos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-12. Patrick Galvão received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Themis Vouzatos came out and tried to block the shot, but Patrick Galvão slotted it home off the left post making it 0-13 in the 80th minute. After 85 played minutes Monodhendri FC got a freekick which was hit by Nelsinho Fonseca. West Staines Massive made a substitution. Yuan Qi replaced Moses Bardhan. A collision led to Monodhendri FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Nelsinho Fonseca hit a great ball. Themis Vouzatos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Eduino in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute West Staines Massive were awarded a corner. Patrick Galvão went to the cornerflag to take it. Patrick Galvão made a great header on West Staines Massive's corner, it was just that Monodhendri FC's Themis Vouzatos managed to reach the ball for a save. Patrick Galvão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 91 minutes, Michael Weniger made it 0-14 with a short kick to the right side. Monodhendri FC's Themis Vouzatos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Themis Vouzatos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patrick Galvão's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. After 96 minutes, Patrick Galvão made it 0-15 with a short kick to the right side. Monodhendri FC's Themis Vouzatos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. West Staines Massive played a much better game than Monodhendri FC and deserved their victory. The Monodhendri FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
