Higinio Porfiro came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Despidida AFC's Toro Martínez. But to his dismay, Toro Martínez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Santo Colas made in the 10th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Rigoberto Turi. Fernando Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Alberto Pernambucano in the 13th minute of play. Toro Martínez scored 2-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Higinio Porfiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Toro Martínez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Higinio Porfiro having to make a save. LA MAQUINA F.C's Higinio Porfiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save LA MAQUINA F.C from getting a goal against them. 27 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Sérgio Berti came free, but Fernando Selatse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 29 minutes, Toro Martínez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Despidida AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toro Martínez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Toro Martínez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute, Toro Martínez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Higinio Porfiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Fernando Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Alberto Pernambucano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Alberto Pernambucano came free, but Fernando Selatse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When Joel Min fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LA MAQUINA F.C's protests and gave Joel Min a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, LA MAQUINA F.C's Joel Min got a free kick in the 56th minute. LA MAQUINA F.C made a substitution. Edgard Nahia replaced Santo Colas. Despidida AFC's Czeslaw Kopacz was substituted for Ancho Branca. Despidida AFC made a substitution. Emiliano Velasco replaced Toro Martínez. The supporters of Despidida AFC booed when LA MAQUINA F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Min didn't get a good kick on the ball. Czeslaw Kopacz scored 4-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Higinio Porfiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 71 minutes of play, Despidida AFC's Czeslaw Kopacz made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Higinio Porfiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Emiliano Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Czeslaw Kopacz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Despidida AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Czeslaw Kopacz in the 80th minute of play forced LA MAQUINA F.C's goalkeeper Higinio Porfiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Higinio Porfiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emiliano Velasco's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. If Emiliano Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 88 minutes of play, Despidida AFC's Szymon Pyrzyce made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Higinio Porfiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Rigoberto Turi got free with Fernando Selatse in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edgard Nahia struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Fernando Selatse didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LA MAQUINA F.C. For all the effort they put into the match, the LA MAQUINA F.C players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Despidida AFC.
