River Plate's Alaaddin Uchiha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 2nd minute of the match, managed to save River Plate from getting a goal against them. When Eloy Elizardo fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored River Plate's protests and gave Eloy Elizardo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th minute of the match, Kyriakos Anastasopoulos got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alaaddin Uchiha was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kyriakos Anastasopoulos got free with Alaaddin Uchiha in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 18th minute, Jeronimo Cidro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lev Kalinichev was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Lev Kalinichev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Sazon in the 21st minute of the match. Lev Kalinichev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Bizi, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Lev Kalinichev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Cidro in the 26th minute of play. Orlando Sazon kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. With a little luck, River Plate's Alaaddin Uchiha got control of the ball when Kyriakos Anastasopoulos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Kyriakos Anastasopoulos could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Alaaddin Uchiha however easily saved by the left post. Alaaddin Uchiha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nunez Fonso in the 34th minute. Orlando Sazon took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lev Kalinichev. Lev Kalinichev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After 44 minutes of play, River Plate's Orlando Sazon made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lev Kalinichev was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Apostolis Tsipas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

In the 50th minute, Natalio Bilintx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Apostolis Tsipas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alaaddin Uchiha was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Apostolis Tsipas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alaaddin Uchiha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, River Plate's Eloy Elizardo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lev Kalinichev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. After 63 played minutes Velα got a freekick which was hit by Aggelos Skopelitis. The supporters of River Plate booed when Velα was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aggelos Skopelitis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alaaddin Uchiha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyriakos Anastasopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Eloy Elizardo took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lev Kalinichev. Lev Kalinichev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Velα's Lev Kalinichev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Bizi in the 74th minute of play. Lev Kalinichev made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Eloy Elizardo sent off a good shot on target. In the 78th minute Apostolis Tsipas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alaaddin Uchiha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, River Plate's Orlando Sazon got a free kick in the 80th minute. River Plate's Alaaddin Uchiha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Takis Trilofos in the 81st minute of play. Velα's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aggelos Skopelitis in the 82nd minute. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Jeronimo Cidro took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Lev Kalinichev to make any attempt to save it. Alaaddin Uchiha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apostolis Tsipas in the 89th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Jeronimo Cidro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lev Kalinichev. Jeronimo Cidro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-7. The Velα supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching River Plate's performance. The match ended with a win for River Plate.
