Thor Eriksson kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Ampthill FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cavit Coşkuner came free, but Argyris Loukoumakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 minutes, Dylan Beck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ampthill FC and the 67st Xerebos Familya F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Gez Little took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Cléberson Andrade to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilla Bumin Rıdvan in the 45th minute of play forced Ampthill FC's goalkeeper Argyris Loukoumakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
