Club Atlético Ituzaingó's Duarte de Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Massa in the 8th minute of play. Erivaldo Netto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Salbatore, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 12th minute, Adriano Massa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Duarte de Sena was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Clodoveo Sugoi put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Erivaldo Netto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Boni in the 18th minute of play forced Öllsjö FC's goalkeeper Erivaldo Netto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erivaldo Netto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Frechoso in the 21st minute of play. Erivaldo Netto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Salbatore, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Öllsjö FC's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Paskal came free, but Erivaldo Netto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erivaldo Netto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Salbatore in the 25th minute of play. Erivaldo Netto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Salbatore in the 28th minute of the match. Duarte de Sena didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adriano Massa went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. In the 40th minute Clodoveo Sugoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erivaldo Netto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Sugoi in the 41st minute of play forced Öllsjö FC's goalkeeper Erivaldo Netto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valentin Uggla charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentin Uggla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 42 played minutes Öllsjö FC got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Uggla. Victor Paskal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erivaldo Netto having to interfere. After 45 minutes, Klas Fransson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Öllsjö FC and the Club Atlético Ituzaingó players grew even worse after the yellow card. Klas Fransson kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victor Paskal to make the kick off. Bernardo Salbatore could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Erivaldo Netto made a huge save. Jan-Ove Jernberg hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Paskal in the 66th minute of play forced Öllsjö FC's goalkeeper Erivaldo Netto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Atlético Ituzaingó's Paolo Marino was substituted for Victor Paskal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardo Salbatore got free with Erivaldo Netto in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Öllsjö FC's goalkeeper Erivaldo Netto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bernardo Salbatore in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Erivaldo Netto, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 89th minute, Klas Fransson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erivaldo Netto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clodoveo Sugoi in the 91st minute of play.
