When Rius Mascaran came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Deportivo Popolizio FBC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rius Mascaran couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rius Mascaran in the 13th minute of play forced GÜMELİSPOR's goalkeeper Vecdi Yurday to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 15th minute of the game was made by Hakkı Paşa with Julian Uxio as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Hakkı Paşa made in the 21st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Selçuk Durcan immediately put the ball in play. 22 minutes into the match, GÜMELİSPOR's Selçuk Durcan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hermann Hesse narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vecdi Yurday showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rius Mascaran in the 25th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Rius Mascaran sped through GÜMELİSPOR's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vecdi Yurday. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rius Mascaran in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vecdi Yurday saved GÜMELİSPOR from getting behind. After 39 minutes GÜMELİSPOR's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cris Ronaldo who took care of the corner kick. 41 minutes into the match, Rius Mascaran notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of GÜMELİSPOR's Vecdi Yurday. Vecdi Yurday was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Ferid Yalap managed to get in a good position for a shot. GÜMELİSPOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferid Yalap was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hermann Hesse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ferid Yalap was the one to do the kick off. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Gaizkine Ibern was substituted for Nils Gielis. In the 73rd minute Deportivo Popolizio FBC were awarded a corner. Cris Ronaldo went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Cris Ronaldo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vecdi Yurday quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 77th minute Tibor Nyilasi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vecdi Yurday saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vecdi Yurday made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tibor Nyilasi in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olly Morgan in the 80th minute of play forced GÜMELİSPOR's goalkeeper Vecdi Yurday to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tibor Nyilasi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vecdi Yurday read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Ferid Yalap took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hermann Hesse. Hermann Hesse dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Vecdi Yurday showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tibor Nyilasi in the 86th minute of the match. If Tibor Nyilasi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tibor Nyilasi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Vecdi Yurday made a huge save. The supporters of Deportivo Popolizio FBC booed when GÜMELİSPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hakkı Paşa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tibor Nyilasi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vecdi Yurday came out and tried to block the shot, but Tibor Nyilasi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 90th minute. Tibor Nyilasi in the 94thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vecdi Yurday, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 96 minutes, Hakkı Paşa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GÜMELİSPOR and the Deportivo Popolizio FBC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to GÜMELİSPOR getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Hakkı Paşa hit a great ball.

The GÜMELİSPOR supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Deportivo Popolizio FBC's performance. The match ended with a win for Deportivo Popolizio FBC.
