In the 5th match minute, Club 23 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Jordy to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nae Lalescu during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Club 23's Nae Lalescu got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 9th minute, Nae Lalescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aníbal Barca got free with Remus Vuia in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oscar Ekhi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liu Chao Xiao in the 18th minute of the match. Oscar Ekhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liu Chao Xiao in the 19th minute of play. In the 24th minute Liu Chao Xiao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Ekhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Șerban Dan in the 27th minute of play forced Quebrachitos FC's goalkeeper Oscar Ekhi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Club 23's Ragnar Lönn nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oscar Ekhi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Remus Vuia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aníbal Barca in the 33rd minute of play. Remus Vuia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aníbal Barca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oscar Ekhi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liu Chao Xiao in the 37th minute of the match. After 40 played minutes Quebrachitos FC got a freekick which was hit by Domingo Senen. 42 minutes into the match, Club 23's goal looked a bit too open when Aníbal Barca came free, but Remus Vuia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ragnar Lönn was the one to do the kick off. Quebrachitos FC's Oscar Ekhi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Quebrachitos FC from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Ragnar Lönn sped through Quebrachitos FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Oscar Ekhi. After a rather tough play, Quebrachitos FC's Liam Neeson got a free kick in the 67th minute. Quebrachitos FC made a substitution. Fabio Iruinea replaced Benedicto Gustau. After 68 played minutes Quebrachitos FC got a freekick which was hit by Liam Neeson. Liu Chao Xiao could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Oscar Ekhi made a huge save. Udo Giehl's late challenge caught a Club 23's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Chan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Remus Vuia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Club 23's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
