Tanek Wojtyna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lu Yuan Yin in the 13th minute of the match. Witold Bycofski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Waldemar Pawlik having to make a save. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chelmza Team's goalkeeper Waldemar Pawlik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Chelmza Team defense, Witold Bycofski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Waldemar Pawlik. The Chelmza Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waldemar Pawlik should have stopped the shot. When Jan Pająk came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the U21 Poland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan Pająk couldn't finish the play. Waldemar Pawlik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Pająk in the 25th minute of play. Tanek Wojtyna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lu Yuan Yin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 minutes of play, U21 Poland's Witold Bycofski made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Waldemar Pawlik was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 37th play minute Lu Yuan Yin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tanek Wojtyna. 1-2. After 43 minutes of play, Chelmza Team's Gwidon Zawacki made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tanek Wojtyna was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Lu Yuan Yin sped through U21 Poland's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tanek Wojtyna. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lu Yuan Yin made a kick off. In the 56th minute Kamilo Glik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Pawlik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Chelmza Team's goal looked a bit too open when Witold Bycofski came free, but Waldemar Pawlik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
