The crowd rose to their feet as AFK Petržalka's Nikola Krstović slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Petr Čech. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Nikola Krstović took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Petr Čech to make any attempt to save it. 13 minutes into the match, Project Nemesis's goalkeeper Petr Čech had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alek Justus. Alek Justus's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Petr Čech firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jozef Cibulka in the 14th minute of play forced Project Nemesis's goalkeeper Petr Čech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paolo Maldini tried in the game's 15th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Petr Čech. An annoying self made goal, 3-0. 18 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's Nikola Krstović sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Petr Čech narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 19th match minute, Project Nemesis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jurand Plucinik to maneuver through the defense. Petr Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikola Krstović in the 20th minute of the match. Jozef Kryl made in the 22nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Nikola Krstović. Project Nemesis's Petr Čech proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Project Nemesis from getting a goal against them. 24 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's goal looked a bit too open when Szymon Rzeszutek came free, but Tim Hebel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petr Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikola Krstović in the 25th minute of play. In the 32nd minute of the match Project Nemesis got a corner. AFK Petržalka's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Szymon Rzeszutek ran over to the corner to take the kick. Project Nemesis's Szymon Rzeszutek was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tim Hebel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Tim Hebel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giorgio Armani, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Alek Justus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Petr Čech made a huge save. A collision led to Project Nemesis getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zhu Chong Ao in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Petr Čech saved Project Nemesis from getting behind. Project Nemesis's Petr Čech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikola Krstović in the 56th minute of play. Tim Hebel came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Project Nemesis's Szymon Rzeszutek. But to his dismay, Szymon Rzeszutek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Szymon Rzeszutek kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Nikola Krstović blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Petr Čech having to make a save. AFK Petržalka's Zhu Chong Ao quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Paolo Maldini, made in the 66th minute of the game. Petr Čech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikola Krstović, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Project Nemesis's goal looked a bit too open when Nikola Krstović came free, but Petr Čech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th match minute, Project Nemesis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olgierd Gurgul to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see AFK Petržalka's Eduard Ješo in action when he in the 79th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! 81 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's Nikola Krstović sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Petr Čech narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 89th minute Alek Justus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petr Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikola Krstović in the 90th minute of play. Tim Hebel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Szymon Rzeszutek in the 92nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. AFK Petržalka had won after a very even match.
