An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwidon Zawacki in the 37th minute of play forced U21 Poland's goalkeeper Tanek Wojtyna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gwidon Zawacki spun around in front of the goal 37 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of U21 Poland's goal. Waldemar Pawlik didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Witold Bycofski went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jan Pająk made a kick off. Tanek Wojtyna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lu Yuan Yin, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Kamilo Glik hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. With a left leg Waldemar Pawlik saved Chelmza Team from getting behind. Mehmet Akif Ceceli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tanek Wojtyna having to interfere.
