Club do Inrrá's Alex Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurinho Mendonça in the 8th minute of play. After 11 played minutes Brazil got a freekick which was hit by José Pedro Borges. With a little luck, Brazil's Dida Martins got control of the ball when Humberto Cardozo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cícero Barral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Dida Martins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alex Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Morales Moreira in the 22nd minute of play. Alex Pontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurinho Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 26 minutes of play, Brazil's Maurinho Mendonça made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alex Pontes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Danilo Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Maurinho Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Brazil booed when Club do Inrrá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bæringur Gylfason didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Maurinho Mendonça's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alex Pontes was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. In the 40th match minute, Club do Inrrá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Cardozo to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, Maurinho Mendonça notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Club do Inrrá's Alex Pontes. In the 56th minute, Brazil's Maurinho Mendonça ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alex Pontes. Alex Pontes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Brazil's Marquinhos Xande managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Danilo Sousa in the 59 minute of the game. Maurinho Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Maurinho Mendonça could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Alex Pontes made a huge save. Brazil's Dida Martins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bæringur Gylfason in the 67th minute of play. Alex Pontes didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 71st minute, which inside left pole to 1-5. Brazil's Clayton Gol was substituted for Morales Moreira. Brazil made a substitution. Club do Inrrá's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dida Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bæringur Gylfason, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th match minute, Club do Inrrá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmílson Esteves to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the match, Club do Inrrá's goalkeeper Alex Pontes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Vianna. Alex Pontes made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Marco Vianna sent off a good shot on target. Brazil's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
