The audience was convinced that Cosme Fulanito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leal Simões was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, D.P.Aarburg's Leal Castilho got a free kick in the 9th minute. D.P.Aarburg's Valentin Bujor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio Calçada in the 16th minute of play. Aquilino Ponte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 20 minutes into the match, D.P.Aarburg's goal looked a bit too open when Cássio Calçada came free, but Valentin Bujor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valentin Bujor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Valadão in the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Fulanito in the 31st minute of play forced KINGS FC's goalkeeper Leal Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to D.P.Aarburg getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. David Peralta hit a great ball. Valentin Bujor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Calçada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, Cosme Fulanito notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of KINGS FC's Leal Simões. Leal Simões was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 42nd minute, Paulo Valadão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KINGS FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Peralta to make the kick off. Valentin Bujor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Acun Mertkal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, Cosme Fulanito dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leal Simões, 1-2. Valentin Bujor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Calçada in the 64th minute of play. Raimundo Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Leal Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 73 minutes D.P.Aarburg's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cássio Calçada who took care of the corner kick. Acun Mertkal was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. KINGS FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cássio Calçada in the 79th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of D.P.Aarburg's goalie and right to Aquilino Ponte. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. D.P.Aarburg's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. A well-hit corner resulted in Zoltán Tálas heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Valentin Bujor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jānis Blūms in the 83rd minute of the match. If Jānis Blūms had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, D.P.Aarburg's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Valadão came free, but Valentin Bujor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute, Acun Mertkal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valentin Bujor was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Although KINGS FC had been in control for most of the match, D.P.Aarburg still came away with the win.
