But to his dismay, Guilherme Peralta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in D.P.Aarburg's zone, Epigonoi Honjas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentin Bujor came out of the goal and Epigonoi Honjas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Epigonoi Honjas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute Leal Castilho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yao Bin Yun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, D.P.Aarburg's Almiro Medeiros got a free kick in the 29th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Wesly Goemyne managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fundação Marques dos Reis's supporters rose to their feet, but Wesly Goemyne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valentin Bujor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valentin Bujor made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Guilherme Peralta sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Duarte Carvalho got free with Valentin Bujor in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to D.P.Aarburg getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Nicu Ilieș hit a great ball. Valentin Bujor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guilherme Peralta, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. D.P.Aarburg's Valentin Bujor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save D.P.Aarburg from getting a goal against them. Yao Bin Yun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Peralta in the 41st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Fundação Marques dos Reis's Samuel Lameiras got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Yao Bin Yun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosme Fulanito in the 44th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the game, Epigonoi Honjas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Valentin Bujor. Epigonoi Honjas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Fundação Marques dos Reis's Filipe Viveiros was substituted for Guilherme Peralta. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

In the 54th match minute, D.P.Aarburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angélico Palma to maneuver through the defense. D.P.Aarburg's Valentin Bujor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Pacheco in the 57th minute of play. Duarte Carvalho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valentin Bujor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Valentin Bujor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Pacheco, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Yao Bin Yun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leal Castilho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 85 minutes on the clock, Almiro Medeiros commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 86th minute, Almiro Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wesly Goemyne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute Alexandre Pacheco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Bujor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Argyris Zagorakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 97 minutes into the match, D.P.Aarburg's David Peralta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yao Bin Yun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fundação Marques dos Reis fully deserved thier win.
