The audience was convinced that Adrián Espadas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicasio Thomas was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. After a rather tough play, GUTIERREZ SC's Amado Lider got a free kick in the 44th minute. Nicasio Thomas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodolfo Atarrabi's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Nicasio Thomas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Vitaliy Vischak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Lizewski in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, GUTIERREZ SC's goalkeeper Nicasio Thomas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cosme Jaen. Vitaliy Vischak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amador Misael, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 79th match minute, GUTIERREZ SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelio Hernandez to maneuver through the defense. When Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GUTIERREZ SC's goalie prevented a goal.

The GUTIERREZ SC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Soroca F.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Soroca F.C..
