Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Klaus Pichler to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Sanches in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aybars Cihannur saved Vérsárkány SE from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Máté Kőváry in the 95th minute of play forced Luxembourg's goalkeeper Karlheinz Ludecke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vérsárkány SE walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
