Durval Marinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Aires in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Oséias Correia fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 18th match minute, Loco De Remate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Aires to maneuver through the defense. Felipe Santos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Okanalp Öksal made a huge save. When Romeo Cangeopol fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Relyn Futebol Clube's protests and gave Romeo Cangeopol a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Relyn Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Romeo Cangeopol hit a great ball. Durval Marinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Aires in the 26th minute of play. Durval Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Medero in the 37th minute of the match. Raimundo Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Okanalp Öksal having to interfere. After 47 played minutes Relyn Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Faria. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Loco De Remate's attentive Amado Nisio managed to snatch the ball when Romeo Cangeopol made a throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game. Relyn Futebol Clube's Durval Marinho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Relyn Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. Loco De Remate's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leandro Virila in the 61st minute. Loco De Remate's Leandro Virila was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Durval Marinho in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, Relyn Futebol Clube's Durval Marinho got control of the ball when Rene Aires tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rene Aires in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Durval Marinho saved Relyn Futebol Clube from getting behind. In the 69th match minute, Relyn Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Åkerström to maneuver through the defense. Loco De Remate's Feliciano Iratxo was substituted for Baškim Sumulikovski. After a rather tough play, Relyn Futebol Clube's Michael Åkerström got a free kick in the 71st minute. Okanalp Öksal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felipe Santos's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. In the 78thth minute of the game Rene Aires who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Relyn Futebol Clube's Durval Marinho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Loco De Remate's Hıdır Namal was substituted for Rene Aires. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Relyn Futebol Clube's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leandro Virila was slow to take the kick. During this time Loco De Remate's players had a chance to rest. Hıdır Namal might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Durval Marinho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hıdır Namal ran back to his position shaking his head. Relyn Futebol Clube's Durval Marinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hıdır Namal in the 89th minute of play. Durval Marinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hıdır Namal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Durval Marinho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hıdır Namal's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Neither Relyn Futebol Clube or Loco De Remate succeeded in finding a winner during the second half. That meant the players faced another 30 minutes of extra-time.

All the players looked a little tired when it was time for the first half of the overtime. It was Loco De Remate's Hıdır Namal that got to make the kick off. When Feliciano Iratxo came up free with the goalie in the 100th minute, the Loco De Remate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliciano Iratxo couldn't finish the play. In the 103rd minute, Oséias Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 110 minutes into the match, Loco De Remate's Hıdır Namal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Durval Marinho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The score was still level after an even and exciting first-half in extra time. The players took a moment to grab a drink and get instructions from their managers before swapping ends.

In the 128th minute of the match, Hıdır Namal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Durval Marinho saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience was convinced that Hıdır Namal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Durval Marinho was relentless in the 132nd minute of the game. After 30 minutes of extra-time there was still no winner. The players now faced the much dreaded penalty shoot-out.

Loco De Remate:s Okanalp Öksal showed great skill when he stopped Oséias Correia:s penalty. Oséias Correia shot a long shot in the 136th minute and a light blocked Okanalp Öksal hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 1-1. In the 137th minute there was a penalty for Loco De Remate. Leandro Virila stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Durval Marinho. 1-2. The referee gave Relyn Futebol Clube a penalty, 139 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tymoteusz Lemiesz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Loco De Remate's Okanalp Öksal. 2-2. Okanalp Öksal had in the 141stth minute some difficulties stopping Durval Marinho's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 142nd minute there was a penalty for Loco De Remate. Mehmet Emrah Ruşen stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Durval Marinho. 2-3. The referee gave Loco De Remate a penalty, 145 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Feliciano Iratxo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Relyn Futebol Clube's Durval Marinho. 3-4.
