After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Ahmet Necdet Baştugay managed to get in a good position for a shot. AKHisaR's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Necdet Baştugay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The HHH fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmet Necdet Baştugay in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kıraç Dölek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Arif Tugay Akadlı fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HHH's protests and gave Arif Tugay Akadlı a yellow card for diving instead. The audience was convinced that Ahmet Necdet Baştugay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kıraç Dölek was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. HHH were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after AKHisaR's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Müjdat Ünverdi took the corner. Kıraç Dölek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Necdet Baştugay in the 33rd minute of the match. AKHisaR's Peker Baycan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Tugay Akadlı in the 44th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arif Tugay Akadlı stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, AKHisaR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Necdet Baştugay to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 54 minutes, Müjdat Ünverdi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. HHH's supporters crossed their fingers, but Müjdat Ünverdi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bahattin Zühtü kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Mirza Yazar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Peker Baycan. AKHisaR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mirza Yazar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. AKHisaR's Aziz Kıvılcım was substituted for Bahattin Zühtü. Mirza Yazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peker Baycan having to interfere. After 74 played minutes HHH got a freekick which was hit by Müjdat Ünverdi. 75 minutes into the match, AKHisaR's Arslan Çubukcu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kıraç Dölek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arif Tugay Akadlı kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in HHH's zone, Ahmet Necdet Baştugay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kıraç Dölek came out of the goal and Ahmet Necdet Baştugay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Tugay Akadlı in the 86th minute of play forced AKHisaR's goalkeeper Peker Baycan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, HHH's Mirza Yazar got a free kick in the 89th minute. Ahmet Necdet Baştugay struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Kıraç Dölek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AKHisaR. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. HHH had won after a very even match.
