After 16 played minutes Honung got a freekick which was hit by Johan Kilström. Elliott Bogren charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elliott Bogren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th minute, one of Vykans Vikingar:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vykans Vikingar. Vykans Vikingar:s Andreas Lindqvist showed great skill when he stopped Angel Lehoi:s penalty. 28 minutes into the game, Henry Roos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Andreas Lindqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andreas Lindqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Roos, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Henry Roos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Vykans Vikingar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andreas Lindqvist should have stopped the shot. After having played for 48 minutes, Henry Roos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honung's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henry Roos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henry Roos made a kick off. Vykans Vikingar's Andreas Lindqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Roos in the 59th minute of play. Henry Roos might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andreas Lindqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henry Roos ran back to his position shaking his head. 64 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Andreas Lindqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henry Roos. Vykans Vikingar's Andreas Lindqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Vykans Vikingar from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Vykans Vikingar's Andreas Lindqvist got control of the ball when Henry Roos tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Vykans Vikingar defense, Henry Roos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andreas Lindqvist.
