Francesco Marines made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michael Stor in the 19th minute. Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Francesco Marines proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Quetzal Flyers Hammers from getting a goal against them. Francesco Marines showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torbjörn Nilsson in the 24th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Torbjörn Nilsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Preator Edikt's supporters rose to their feet, but Torbjörn Nilsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francesco Marines breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Michael Stor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Francesco Marines made a huge save. In the 31st minute, Luís Gustavo Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francesco Marines made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Michael Stor sent off a good shot on target. Sonny Perkins ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half Quetzal Flyers Hammers were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Torbjörn Nilsson was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Sonny Perkins ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan Pihlberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Preator Edikt's Fellipe Vianna was substituted for Albert Örnberg. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Glenn Hysén during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Luís Gustavo Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jan Pihlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sonny Perkins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Preator Edikt's Jan Pihlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sonny Perkins in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Preator Edikt's goalkeeper Jan Pihlberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Antoni Majusiak made a great header on Quetzal Flyers Hammers's corner, it was just that Preator Edikt's Jan Pihlberg managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 80th match minute, Quetzal Flyers Hammers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anibal Haritzeder to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 82 minutes, Tony Cote managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quetzal Flyers Hammers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tony Cote was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Tony Cote slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jan Pihlberg. That made the score 0-4 after 85 minutes of play. Gabriel Anselius kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Jan Pihlberg was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Antoni Majusiak. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Stor in the 92nd minute of play forced Quetzal Flyers Hammers's goalkeeper Francesco Marines to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Quetzal Flyers Hammers had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
