Anak Selby's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enzo Morais read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Anak Selby left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Begu Ganjang fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 11th minute Joaquim Teves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tạ I saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enzo Morais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anak Selby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Begu Ganjang's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Xavier Sabrosa scored to the left of an out of position Tạ I, making the score, 1-1. In the 19th minute Joaquim Teves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tạ I saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Xavier Sabrosa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Begu Ganjang's Tạ I did a great save. The crowd rose to their feet as Xavier Sabrosa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tạ I. That made the score 2-1 in the 25 minute of play. When Xavier Sabrosa came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the ZEZOM TEAM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xavier Sabrosa couldn't finish the play. In the 31st minute, Anak Selby left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Begu Ganjang fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavier Sabrosa in the 36th minute of play forced Begu Ganjang's goalkeeper Tạ I to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Begu Ganjang's Anak Selby got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joaquim Teves to make the kick off. Enzo Morais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anak Selby in the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Teves in the 56th minute of play forced Begu Ganjang's goalkeeper Tạ I to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ZEZOM TEAM's Enzo Morais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Trezeguet in the 79th minute of play. Tạ I made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Teves in the 80th minute of play. Tạ I took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavier Sabrosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute, Michal Budzyn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ZEZOM TEAM's Julian Pyrzyce was substituted for Arkadiusz Oborski. ZEZOM TEAM's Nate Calas was substituted for Xavier Sabrosa. ZEZOM TEAM's José Vieira was substituted for Armando Mascarenhas. The supporters of Begu Ganjang booed when ZEZOM TEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michal Budzyn didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind ZEZOM TEAM's goalkeeper Enzo Morais, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The whistle blew for the end of the second half and the match was still tied. The players were able to take a short break before lining up again for extra-time.

After the break the players went out on the field to play the first half of overtime with revived energy in their legs. Begu Ganjang's David Trezeguet started the play with the initial kick off. ZEZOM TEAM's Enzo Morais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Trezeguet in the 101st minute of play. Joaquim Tevess short, quick shot in the 103rdth minute got Tạ I to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 104 minutes into the game, Sebastian Cipău threw the ball into play from the sideline. ZEZOM TEAM's Michal Budzyn quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If David Trezeguet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 105th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tạ I took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nate Calas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enzo Morais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Trezeguet in the 109th minute of the match. Enzo Morais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Trezeguet, who was totally free with the ball in the 113th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 115th minute, David Trezeguet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Begu Ganjang's supporters rose to their feet, but David Trezeguet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enzo Morais breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Both sets of players were looking tired when the whistle went to end the half. Everyone was pleased to get a few minutes to rest before extra-time resumed.

In the 122nd minute Nate Calas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tạ I saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Nate Calas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tạ I quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 128 minutes ZEZOM TEAM's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Manuel Aurelianu who took care of the corner kick. Nate Calas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tạ I read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 133rd minute of play. Neither team seemed willing to take risks during extra-time and the defenses won out. The match would now go to a penalty shoot-out.

In the 142nd minute there was a penalty for ZEZOM TEAM. Enzo Morais stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tạ I. 4-5. The ZEZOM TEAM supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Begu Ganjang's performance. The match ended with a win for Begu Ganjang.
