In the 16th minute, Americo Gimenez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 18 minutes into the game, Fernando Bartolome threw the ball into play from the sideline. Bruly's Luckas Cromefeldt quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Jullian Vranx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasco Goycochea having to interfere. Bruly's Willy Van Linthout played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Oliverio in the 26th minute of play. Wesley Gressens struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Vasco Goycochea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bruly. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cosme Oliverio was the one to do the kick off. Ruperto Xacintu made in the 54th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Bruly's Wesley Gressens. 56 minutes into the match, Bruly's Jullian Vranx sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vasco Goycochea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bruly had played much better football throughout.
