After taking down the ball on Unidad de Matanza's corner Waldemar Okopny fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Victoriano Lertxun quite easily take care of the ball. The audience was convinced that Nestor Bâru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victoriano Lertxun was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. If Nestor Bâru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Victoriano Lertxun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Bâru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nestor Bâru might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victoriano Lertxun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nestor Bâru ran back to his position shaking his head. Victoriano Lertxun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Bâru, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Bâru in the 35th minute of play forced Boedo Athletic.'s goalkeeper Victoriano Lertxun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Claudinho Paranaense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the match, Boedo Athletic.'s goal looked a bit too open when Waldemar Okopny came free, but Victoriano Lertxun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victoriano Lertxun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldemar Okopny in the 70th minute of the match. With his leg Victoriano Lertxun managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Unidad de Matanza's Martin Grøtterud fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
