Jordy Hendrickx's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Georges-Philippe Haemers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Thommy De Kerpel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georges-Philippe Haemers having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Thommy De Kerpel notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of İstanbul Başakşehir F.K.'s Georges-Philippe Haemers. Georges-Philippe Haemers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jordy Hendrickx might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Georges-Philippe Haemers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jordy Hendrickx ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 18th minute, Jamie Haelemans made a precise shot to the right of Kristen De Coninck. FC Zacząć od nowa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Thommy De Kerpel charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thommy De Kerpel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 played minutes FC Zacząć od nowa got a freekick which was hit by Thommy De Kerpel. Jamie Haelemans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristen De Coninck having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Constantijn De Witte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute, Jamie Haelemans reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kristen De Coninck. The goal made the score 2-1. In the 34th minute, Jordy Hendrickx left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Zacząć od nowa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in İstanbul Başakşehir F.K.'s zone, Jordy Hendrickx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Georges-Philippe Haemers came out of the goal and Jordy Hendrickx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 39 minutes into the match, İstanbul Başakşehir F.K.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jordy Hendrickx came free, but Georges-Philippe Haemers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, İstanbul Başakşehir F.K.'s Adam Roekeloos got a free kick in the 39th minute. Jamie Haelemans scored 3-2 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kristen De Coninck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 46th minute, İstanbul Başakşehir F.K.'s Jamie Haelemans dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-2.
After having played for 54 minutes, Mattias Eli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. İstanbul Başakşehir F.K.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Mattias Eli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kristen De Coninck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jamie Haelemans in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, FC Zacząć od nowa's goal looked a bit too open when Mattias Eli came free, but Kristen De Coninck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Jamie Haelemans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kristen De Coninck was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. In the 65th minute, Constantijn De Witte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th match minute, İstanbul Başakşehir F.K. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jamie Haelemans to maneuver through the defense. After 68 minutes, Constantijn De Witte mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Zacząć od nowa and the İstanbul Başakşehir F.K. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 68 played minutes FC Zacząć od nowa got a freekick which was hit by Constantijn De Witte. The supporters of FC Zacząć od nowa booed when İstanbul Başakşehir F.K. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Roekeloos didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, FC Zacząć od nowa's Georges-Philippe Haemers threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Thommy De Kerpel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 79 minutes into the match, FC Zacząć od nowa's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Roekeloos came free, but Kristen De Coninck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Reyniers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kristen De Coninck didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jamie Haelemans went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-2 was the resulting score. Pieter-Jan Vercalsteren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georges-Philippe Haemers having to interfere. Kristen De Coninck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jamie Haelemans, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute Adam Roekeloos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristen De Coninck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Zacząć od nowa's Roy Verbeke quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bertan Wouqier, made in the 94th minute of the game. İstanbul Başakşehir F.K. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
