Inocencio Felipo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deng Chang Xu, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Nouvelle Vague's goal looked a bit too open when Deng Chang Xu came free, but Inocencio Felipo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jairo Hurko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Ugutz in the 42nd minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Casimiro Ugutz to make the kick off. If Deng Chang Xu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 54 played minutes Nouvelle Vague got a freekick which was hit by Cibran Piedra. In the 70th minute Deng Chang Xu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Felipo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jairo Hurko was a little too slow when Casimiro Ugutz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 0-1. Nouvelle Vague made a substitution.
