Luis Henrico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Menios Chloros made a huge save. A collision led to Nouvelle Vague getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Juninho Juni hit a great ball. Nouvelle Vague's Inocencio Felipo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nedim Emekli in the 9th minute of play. In the 18th minute Casimiro Ugutz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Menios Chloros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th match minute, Mean Machine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boruc Smolak to maneuver through the defense. After 21 played minutes, Nouvelle Vague's Casimiro Ugutz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Menios Chloros came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nouvelle Vague reached it. Menios Chloros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Ugutz in the 22nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juninho Juni got free with Menios Chloros in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30th minute Casimiro Ugutz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Menios Chloros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inocencio Felipo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carles Pujol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carles Pujol in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Inocencio Felipo saved Nouvelle Vague from getting behind. When Mean Machine's Carles Pujol in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nouvelle Vague's goalie prevented a goal. Menios Chloros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Casimiro Ugutz in the 34th minute. Inocencio Felipo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nedim Emekli in the 39th minute of play. The supporters of Nouvelle Vague booed when Mean Machine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carles Pujol didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Mean Machine's goal looked a bit too open when Casimiro Ugutz came free, but Menios Chloros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nedim Emekli to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Nouvelle Vague's goalkeeper Inocencio Felipo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Archibaldo Peñaranda. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Henrico in the 55th minute of play forced Mean Machine's goalkeeper Menios Chloros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th match minute, Mean Machine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nedim Emekli to maneuver through the defense. Mean Machine made a substitution. Luca Milivojević replaced Lakis Mantarinakis. Nedim Emekli kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Mean Machine's Carles Pujol got a free kick in the 91st minute. Menios Chloros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Ugutz in the 92nd minute of play.
