Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Guido Vissenaeken notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Newark Athletic Club's Lucien Moss. Lucien Moss was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With his leg Lucien Moss managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Brugge United's Guido Vissenaeken fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Guido Vissenaeken had several of the Newark Athletic Club's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 8 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Lucien Moss as he didn't even see the shot coming. Ned Reed hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Guido Vissenaeken took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucien Moss. Lucien Moss dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Brugge United's Guido Vissenaeken got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Guido Vissenaeken left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brugge United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. 28 minutes into the game, Guido Vissenaeken cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Lucien Moss was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 32 minutes, Guido Vissenaeken made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Newark Athletic Club's Lucien Moss tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Guido Vissenaeken kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lucien Moss. That made the score 8-0 in the 38 minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Newark Athletic Club's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Vissenaeken came free, but Lucien Moss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Guido Vissenaeken ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucien Moss was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 9-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guido Vissenaeken made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guido Vissenaeken in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucien Moss saved Newark Athletic Club from getting behind. Lucien Moss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Vissenaeken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ned Reed got a throw-in 53 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Brant Zuniga. Guido Vissenaeken might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucien Moss. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guido Vissenaeken ran back to his position shaking his head. Lucien Moss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Vissenaeken in the 55th minute of the match. Ramiro Hanson kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Brugge United's Waud Huijbrechts was substituted for Jaspar Van Den Broeck. The supporters of Brugge United booed when Newark Athletic Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Hanson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Brugge United's Ümit Karan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucien Moss made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. Newark Athletic Club's Lucien Moss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Vissenaeken in the 67th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Guido Vissenaeken made a precise shot to the right of Lucien Moss. Newark Athletic Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. 79 minutes into the game, Brugge United's Guido Vissenaeken nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucien Moss made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 13-0.
