Guido Vissenaeken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jonas Chorache showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Vissenaeken in the 42nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Brugge United's Vítor Baia got control of the ball when Carolo Stephen tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guido Vissenaeken to strike the kick off in the second half. Guido Vissenaeken blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonas Chorache having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carolo Stephen in the 66th minute of play forced Brugge United's goalkeeper Vítor Baia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guido Vissenaeken's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonas Chorache read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Arnauld Van Impe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonas Chorache was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The audience was convinced that Arnauld Van Impe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonas Chorache was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Brugge United's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
